Safety and Compliance Asistant

Job Summary:

The Safety and Compliance Administrator will be responsible for managing and overseeing all administrative aspects of safety and compliance within the company. This role involves maintaining accurate records, active communication with the Safety and Compliance teams and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, patient, and ready to learn new skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update safety and compliance records, including accident reports, and more.
• Prepare and submit required documentation and reports in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement administrative processes to enhance the efficiency of safety and compliance functions.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to safety policies and company requirements.
• Manage and organize all documentation related to safety programs, compliance audits, and incident investigations.
• Assist in the development of safety policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with current regulations.
• Track and monitor safety performance metrics, generating reports for management review.

Qualifications:

• Ready to learn federal, state, and local regulations related to trucking safety and compliance.
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to generate clear, concise reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Technologically proficient with good computer skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English language.
• Shows a strong ability to remain patient and considerate in all dealings.
